We’re growing fast, and we need a talented recruiter to take over our hiring function, drive recruitment efficiency, strengthen employer branding, and lay the foundation for our long-term people strategy.
About this Role
This is more than just a recruitment role! You’ll be stepping into an established hiring function, taking over from our current Head of Talent. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of internal recruitment, working directly with leadership to refine hiring processes, improve employer branding, and drive employee engagement.
As we scale from 50 to 100+ employees in the next 18 months, this role will evolve into a Head of People position, where you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated recruitment and HR team. If you have 1+ year of sales recruitment experience and are looking to transition in-house, this is the perfect chance to develop your career into a strategic leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
As Head of Talent, you’ll take full ownership of hiring across all non-tech functions, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent as we scale. You’ll work closely with leadership to optimise recruitment, enhance employer branding, and develop strategies that support long-term growth.
Talent Acquisition & Hiring Strategy - Own and refine recruitment for sales, management, customer support, and product roles.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with leadership and hiring managers to align hiring with business needs.
Agency Management - Oversee our sales recruitment agency, ensuring we focus on quality-over-quantity hiring.
Employer Branding & Talent Attraction - You will position Serac as a top SaaS employer by optimising our presence on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and industry events.
Onboarding & Employee Experience - Improve onboarding programs, employee
engagement, and retention strategies.
Culture & Retention - You will create a high-performance culture, working with leadership to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction.
Career Progression & Development – Ensure employees see clear growth paths, partnering with managers to enhance career development programs.
HR Systems & People Analytics - Once these platforms are in place you will need to track hiring efficiency, retention, and engagement metrics to improve decision-making.
As we scale, you’ll transition into a Head of People role, where you’ll build and lead a dedicated recruitment and HR team, develop structured people operations (performance reviews, salary benchmarking, benefits), and play a key role in shaping company culture and long-term talent strategy.
Must-Haves
Recruitment Experience – Minimum 1 year in sales recruitment, ideally in SaaS or GTM hiring (tech hiring experience is a plus!).
Interested in transitioning in-house and developing into a strategic talent leader. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the recruitment function and build a best-in-class hiring process as we scale.
Strategic Sourcing Expertise. Confident using headhunting techniques to engage top-tier, passive talent.
Confident Communicator. Strong interpersonal skills for outreach, candidate engagement, and stakeholder collaboration.
Stakeholder Management. Experience partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements and drive hiring success.
Process-Driven. You can refine and scale a recruitment function, improving efficiency and hiring success rates.
Results-Oriented. Proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and closing high-caliber candidates.
Growth-Minded & Adaptable. You must be excited about transitioning from sales recruitment to an in-house role, with a long-term vision of scaling a recruitment and people function in a high-growth SaaS environment.
